The Paris Saint-Germain administration decided to impose a penalty on the Argentine Lionel Messi, the star of the French team.
And according to French radio "Monte Carlo", Paris Saint-Germain decided on Tuesday evening to suspend Lionel Messi for a period of two weeks, with immediate effect.
This came after Lionel Messi traveled to Saudi Arabia without obtaining the permission of the French club.
The radio added that Saint-Germain officials considered that what Messi committed was a grave mistake.
And French radio indicated that the suspension will be from participating in matches and training as well, and that the Parisian club will not pay the salary of the flea during that period.
Messi had traveled because he signed work contracts as an ambassador for tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is noteworthy that Lionel Messi's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer, and many reports claim that the flea is on his way to leave, due to his strained relationship with the public, in addition to Barcelona's attempt to return him again to the Camp Nou castle.
