All parents should know about this: the schedule for the 2023-24 school year has been revealed
The next academic year starts on September 1, 2023 and lasts until June 21, 2024, both days are Fridays. The last day of classes in the final year of the school or in the final year of vocational training is May 3, 2024 (Friday) in secondary schools, and May 31, 2024 (Friday) in vocational schools preparing for two-year sub-vocational courses - read the Hungarian Gazette published on Tuesday evening .
The school holidays are as follows:

ol day before the autumn break is October 27, 2023 (Friday), the first school day after the break is November 6, 2023 (Monday).
*- The last school day before the winter break is December 21, 2023 (Thursday), the first school day after the break is January 8, 2024 (Monday).
*- The last school day before the spring break is March 27, 2024 (Wednesday), the first school day after the break is April 8, 2024 (Monday).
*- The autumn written baccalaureate exam period begins on October 13, 2023, and lasts until October 27, the advanced orals will be held between November 9 and 13, and the intermediate level orals between November 20 and 24.
The 2024 spring written exams will take place between May 3 and May 27, 2024, the written exams will be held between June 5 and 12 at the advanced level, and the intermediate level exams will be held between June 17 and July 3.
